The collections propose a {{grouping by file « type »}} : bibliography, concept, experience, interview, actor, document, analysis, and challenge.
From the diversity of the types of tools to the Irenees « Collections ».
Irenees’ initial initiative, which consists of making a variety tool types available in the hope of encouraging a relationship between the various types of knowledge, reveals itself to be extremely useful : it allows one to break down the knowledge provided by showing where there is overlap, concerning as much the understanding of conflict as the challenges to peace. Nevertheless, this first initiative seems to call for a second initiative that would give greater logical impulse to the diversity of the tools proposed.
Since Irenees allows one to work on documents that, be they of different types and subject matter, are founded on the same principle, the whole of these documents can also be compiled by « document type ». For example : if a user wants to work on the relationship between « water and peace » solely from the point of view of the actors, it would be useful to him to be able to simply access the actor files. If another user wants to work on the relationship between « Islam and peace » solely from a conceptual point of view, or solely from a documentary point of view, et cetera, it would be useful to him to be able to compile simply the file type that interests him. This will allow the progressive formulation of a series of « collections », and an additional possibility for categorizing the resources proposed by Irenees.
