A true space for exchange and reflection, <irenees.net> is a reference not just for the actors of peace who work in the field, but also for the intellectuals and specialists of conflict management and peace-building. The objective being that <irenees.net> constitute both a place for reflection on, and collection of, knowledge of the Art of Peace, as well as a true space for exchange, communication and sharing between the various contributing actors. In particular, it should be the object of continuous, meticulous attention so that it is regularly adapted, broken in and developed, with each alteration making it more pertinent, accessible and dynamic.
It is from this perspective that the creation of a Technical Management Committee of the website has become indispensable. The Committee members should perform two tasks :

Display a critical eye regarding the operational mode of the database in order to improve and develop it in function of its needs, prioritizing flexibility and performance. It’s a matter of making it possible to improve the practical and logical aspects of utilization;

Adapt the technical means to achieve the theoretical aims, doing so from a perspective of development, evaluation, and accessibility of the website, and with a commitment to guarantee serious, quality content.
Composition of the Committee
The Technical Committee is made up of a limited number of people intimately involved with Irenees. It consists of persons regularly exposed to the Irenees database and who have the propensity to propel things forward in a constructive manner – people who are either apt technically or who are capable of enriching the website with their expertise.
Meeting Frequency
The Technical Committee in periodic meetings : these people form a true working group, regularly in contact, that gets together at least once every six months in order to get their bearings and propose improvements, concerning themselves with the basic elements, as well as the more complex aspects, such as the organization of the website and its home page.
Terms and Conditions of the Partners’ Participation as a Whole
In the first stage, the objective is not to install a Technical Management Committee in each of the Irenees’ spheres…on the other hand, partner participation is indispensable.
Indeed, the compendium of the partners’ opinions is extremely important ; the partners are, therefore, regularly consulted by the Technical Committee so that they can express themselves, share their difficulties, their desired improvements, et cetera.
