Camilo Andrés Tamayo Gomez

Columbian, communications and culture researcher at CINEP (Center for Investigation and Popular Education) in Bogotá. He heads the Social Communications Department (Javeriana University of Bogotá, Columbia) and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the National University of Columbia. He participated in various research studies on the representations of armed conflict in the Columbian media. He has also participated in projects of international collaboration, including for UNESCO, PNUD, OIM, and UNICEF. Since 2000, Camilo Tamayo has also been Professor of Communications at the Javeriana University and member of a « communications, media and culture » research group within the Communications and Languages Department of this same University.
